Assistant Key Account Manager ($600-800)

MAIN ROLE

As an Assistant Key Account Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the performance and development of Key Customers as assigned. You will support the Key Account Manager in strategic relationship development regarding overseas agent, supplier, carrier and ensure the delivery of customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

              Effectively build, manage and maintain customer relationship and development.

              Support Account Manager in strategic relationship development regarding overseas agent, supplier, and shipping lines.

              Understand customers’ needs and identify new business opportunities among the existing customers

              Support retention initiatives for selected strategic accounts.

              Collaborate with another department as Operation department, logistics department, Finance, and sales department to manage and ensure compliance of committed service levels to the client.

              Assist Account Manager in creation, updates, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedure.

              Support implementation and project initiatives as required.

              Support ad-hoc quotations

              Other duty as assigned

              Work out the account plan and report to the manger.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIREMENT

              Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, Business, Supply Chain is preferable

              Minimum of 2 years’ experience in assistant key account management or relative function within the logistics, freight forwarding, shipping lines or 3PL industry.

              Fluent in English. One more language is preferred

              Excellent operational understanding in air and ocean freight forwarding, exposure towards contract logistics operations is an added advantage

              Possess strong analytical skills and in-depth understanding of the supply chain network

              Able to solve critical issues in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.

              Possess a positive and confident personality with well-developed negotiation and persuasive skills.

              Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and set priorities.

              Able to work independently or in a group under high pressure
