AGENCY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

1.       Main role:

SME LOGISTICS JSC is hiring experience Manager with a solid knowledge in developing Overseas Agents. Candidate must hold good knowledge of Sea Freight FCL LCL & Air Freight and have experience in Contract, Price Negotiation, Joint Venture to Develop International Operation Lead the Annual Business Planning. This position will arrange to develop strategies to increase the Sales Volume from an overseas agent.

1.      Job description:

·         Effectively build, manage and maintain strategic agency relationship and development

·         Support Account Manager in strategic relationship development regarding overseas agent to maintain and increase the sales volume.

identify new business opportunities among the existing agent.
Support retention initiatives for selected strategic accounts
Investigate, analysis and find a good – strong agency to match SME’s business.
Evaluate to agency’s cooperation
Solving all relevant regarding agent to the maintenance of standard Operating procedure.
Support pricing team to negotiate with the agent to get a better rate for bidding, project or specific shipment detail. 
Set up a meeting with an overseas agent and business trip plan
2.      Key skills and qualifications:

Bachelor/Master's Degree in Foreign Trade, Marketing, International Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same or relative function within the logistics, freight forwarding, shipping lines or 3PL industry
Ability to travel regional and overseas.
Fluent in English (4 skill). Acknowledge one more Language is an advantage
Excellent in word, excel, powerpoint.
Understand well market’s situation as well as a competitor.
Excellent operational understanding in air and ocean freight forwarding, exposure towards contract logistics operations is an added advantage
Possess strong analytical skills and in-depth understanding of the supply chain network
Able to solve critical issues in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
Possess a positive and confident personality with well-developed negotiation and persuasive skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and set priorities.
Able to work independently or in a group under high pressure
